The driving dynamics of Jaguar cars are legendary – XF raises this benchmark even higher.
With its exceptional ride comfort and outstanding sport handling, the XF delivers a breadth of exhilarating driving experiences. Available with a range of gasoline engines, the option of All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics gives the XF even greater capability in challenging road conditions.
The XF takes the renowned ride and handling of Jaguar vehicles to an even higher level. It delivers true sporting character while offering outstanding levels of refinement. This is thanks, in part, to its advanced aluminum intensive architecture, which delivers superb torsional rigidity and is the ideal platform for the advanced front double wishbone and rear integral link suspension systems.
Strong and light aluminum components make up the sophisticated front and rear suspension systems. At the front, a double wishbone suspension structure, similar to the F‑TYPE, ensures class-leading handling. An Integral Link suspension system at the rear provides rigidity to support handling, improve ride quality even further and extend the XF breadth of dynamic capability.
Even when fully loaded, the comfort and precise handling of the XF Sportbrake is maintained by a self-leveling rear air suspension. This system automatically inflates air springs to counteract the weight of heavy loads, helping to ensure a level chassis and ride height.

Ingenium is the new breed of Jaguar Land Rover engine designed for effortless performance, refinement and efficiency. With advanced technology and all-aluminum construction, Ingenium delivers impressively low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Turbocharged Ingenium gas engines deliver outstanding usable power and torque in the XF. With their lightweight design and widespread use of low-friction roller bearings, they are built for smooth, highly efficient performance.
Shared with the F‑TYPE, the 3.0-liter, 380 hp supercharged V6 engine is standard with the XF S and delivers instant access to high levels of performance and torque at all engine speeds, as well as refinement. The XF S AWD sedan is capable of 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds.
Delivering rapid shifting for effortless acceleration, the 8-speed automatic transmission is highly responsive, smooth and efficient. Featuring a contemporary Gloss Black rotary selector, the transmission offers even quicker shifts and sportier kick-down in Dynamic Mode, and earlier up-shifts in Eco Mode. You can also opt to manually control gearshifts, via steering wheel paddles at the touch of a finger.
The unique Intelligent All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) is available with all XF engines. Exclusively developed by Jaguar, the unique IDD software features sophisticated algorithms designed to react intelligently to road conditions. Predictive as well as reactive, the system helps prevent you from losing traction instead of working to regain it. On the XF S AWD, adding to that model capability, the Adaptive Surface Response (AdSR) system can work at all engine speeds, automatically recognizing differences between surfaces to exploit the maximum available grip.
Unique to this class of car, All-Surface Progress Control (ASPC) gives you added confidence in slippery conditions — whether starting from a snowy driveway, driving on an icy incline or even towing on wet grass. ASPC is a low-speed cruise control that helps the XF overcome low-traction situations, allowing you to concentrate on steering.
Inspired by the F-TYPE sports car, the optional Configurable Dynamics* system allows you to set up the dynamics in the XF for throttle mapping, gearbox shift points and steering to suit your performance-driving needs. The system is activated when Dynamic Mode is selected in JaguarDrive Control. Dynamic Mode enlivens the sporting character of the XF, sharpening throttle response, increasing steering weighting and performing gearshifts more quickly and at higher engine speeds. With optional Adaptive Dynamics* fitted, you can make your settings even more personal by configuring the damper settings.
Whether you’re accelerating on the highway, cornering on country roads or navigating uneven surfaces around town, available Adaptive Dynamics is designed to instinctively modify the vehicle’s response to conditions and your driving style. The system constantly adjusts the electronically controlled dampers to optimize the suspension settings.
Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS) has been engineered by Jaguar Cars to offer outstanding feedback and control. By monitoring vehicle speed and driver inputs, EPAS finely calibrates the amount of power assistance for every bend, every maneuver. EPAS also enables other assistance features, including Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Park Assist,† to offer increased driver convenience.
JaguarDrive Control allows you to select between Comfort, Eco, Dynamic and Rain/Ice/Snow driving modes, each subtly changing the steering, throttle response and gearbox shift points. Eco Mode encourages fuel-efficient driving while Dynamic Mode increases throttle sensitivity, holds gears for longer and increases steering weighting. By selecting Rain/Ice/Snow Mode, the system automatically dampens acceleration and applies more gradual traction in slippery conditions.

The Activity Key, an option only available on the XF Sportbrake, makes living life to the fullest even easier. The robust and fully waterproof wristband allows you to enjoy a range of activities — from skydiving to swimming — while giving you immediate access to the car at all times. The conventional key fob can remain within the car as it is deactivated for security purposes.
With Powered Gesture Trunk Lid or Tailgate you can access the trunk when your hands are full. Simply wave your foot under either rear corner and the trunk door opens or closes.

The versatile interior of the XF Sportbrake is designed to meet the demands of your lifestyle. Its cargo space provides 31.7 cubic feet of space with the rear seats in place. Fold the rear seats down, and you’ll create a space that is six feet long and over three feet in width at its narrowest point, featuring 69.7 cubic feet of luggage capacity plus discreet underfloor storage.
To make every journey a safer experience, the XF provides a range of driver aids. Using our latest innovative InControl® technologies, this suite of features helps avoid potential collisions and manage a range of different driving scenarios.
Helping with various maneuvers, from parking by a curb to getting in and out of tight spaces and intersections, 360˚ Surround Camera gives you complete exterior vision on the touchscreen. To enhance this system further, Forward Vehicle Guidance and Forward Traffic Detection are also available. Forming part of the 360˚ Surround Camera,† Forward Vehicle Guidance provides the driver with an on-screen visualization of the vehicle and parking distance. Forward Traffic Detection helps avoid potential collisions in situations where forward maneuvers involve restricted views.

In an emergency braking situation, the XF is ready. Utilizing a forward-facing camera, should a potential collision be detected, the XF gives an audible forward collision warning, allowing you time to take action. Visual warnings in the Head-Up Display (if fitted) and instrument cluster follow. If a collision is still anticipated and the driver takes no action, the system then applies the brakes to help reduce the severity of the possible impact.
These systems make parking in tight spaces easier than ever. Sensors measure the space and, if suitable, will enable the XF to accurately steer itself during both parallel parking and perpendicular parking maneuvers — the driver only has to control the brakes and accelerator. For parallel spaces, an exit-assist function can help guide the XF out again. The Reverse Traffic Detection system, using the blind spot monitoring system’s sensors, is able to detect approaching vehicles that may be unseen by the driver, triggering an audible alert and a notification on the touchscreen.
**Optional Features
Available Traffic Sign Recognition† technology uses a forward-facing camera to detect speed limit and no passing road signs, and then displays them to the driver on the instrument panel. This system takes account of temporary speed limits. The Adaptive Speed Limiter,† if activated, will use the signage information, alongside map data from the navigation system, to help the driver keep the XF under the appropriate speed limit.4

Innovative technology features – Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Driver Condition Monitor (DCM) – are available on the XF. LKA is designed to sense unintentional lane drift and to help steer the vehicle back into its lane. DCM constantly analyzes driving inputs to detect lapses in concentration due to tiredness. When the system determines that a potentially drowsy driver is at the wheel, it suggests taking a break via a notification in the instrument cluster and an audible signal.
The optional Blind Spot Monitor uses radar sensors to cover areas difficult to see when you’re driving – either directly or rapidly approaching in your blind spot. If it detects cars overtaking, it warns you via an amber icon in the appropriate door mirror.4 In addition to Blind Spot Monitor, available Blind Spot Assist can help prevent collisions. If your car detects another vehicle in your blind spot when you begin to change lanes, Blind Spot Assist provides a precisely calculated opposing steering torque — guiding the vehicle safely away from the approaching vehicle.
Always stay connected in your XE. Optional Wireless Device Charging seamlessly tops up your phone’s battery life, providing complete convenience. *Subject to device compatibility.
State-of-the-art technology provides an unobstructed view through the rear of your Jaguar XE.* A camera located in the antenna pod feeds a live video to your rear-view mirror, ensuring constant visibility regardless of what’s behind you. *Optional feature. Customers who wear varifocal or bifocal lenses may have issues adjusting to the mirror’s digital mode. The normal mirror mode, however, can be used at any time.
Helping to keep your eyes on the road, Head-up Display projects key information onto the windshield. Easily view the vehicle’s speed, gear position and navigation through the full-color display. *Only available as part of the Technology Pack.

The XE accommodates a range of features that help you reach each destination safely.
With the standard split-folding seats, readily fold the second row and pack all your belongings. Even if your hands are full, the trunk is conveniently accessible with optional Powered Gesture Trunk Lid, allowing you to open and close the trunk lid with ease.
Helps to prevent collisions with other vehicles and pedestrians using camera, radar and ultrasonic sensors. If a potential front collision is detected, the system gives audible and visual warnings. If no action is taken*, the system applies the brakes to help reduce the severity of the possible impact.
*Please note that if any action is taken, even minimal steering, the Emergency Braking system will assume the driver resumed control of the vehicle and the system will automatically disengage.
Cruise control is standard in the XE, as is Speed Limiter, which lets you set a maximum vehicle speed.
By monitoring steering inputs and brake and accelerator pedal activity, Driver Condition Monitor detects if you’re starting to feel drowsy and gives you an early warning when you need to take a break.
Detects when the vehicle is unintentionally drifting out of its lane and applies a corrective torque to the steering wheel to gently guide your vehicle back.
The Rear Camera provides improved visibility when reversing. To assist with parking, static lines representing your XE and its projected path appear on the touchscreen.
Each optional pack offers a range of features to help keep you safe and informed.
Parallel and perpendicular parking are made easier with optional Park Assist, which steers your vehicle into and out of a suitable space. After selecting either Drive or Reverse, you only have to control the vehicle’s speed. Graphics and notifications will guide you through the maneuvers.
Gives complete confidence when maneuvering in tight spaces. The optional 360° Parking Aid includes sensors that can be either manually activated or automatically triggered when Reverse is selected. When maneuvering, graphics and audio feedback indicate your proximity to obstacles.
Useful when reversing out of a parking spot, optional Rear Traffic Monitor warns you of hazards approaching from either side of your vehicle. It will alert you with both audio and visual warnings so you know what’s behind you, even with an obstructed view.
